No matter if you like participating on an athletic team or simply relaxing poolside and watching the sunset, the Chaparral County Club is the place for you. Members enjoy the close relationships made here, and there are many activities to choose from.
Chaparral is located in Palm Desert, California, and features a guard-gated community with a 24/7 security team. There are only 625 homes in this intimate neighborhood and ownership includes the executive 18-hole course and the land as well as the country club facilities. Residents enjoy living a vacation-like life here and make friends for life. The amenities include 21 pools and spas and six tennis and pickle ball courts. The golf course was designed by Ted Robinson and is known as The Little Monster. Golfers are challenged by its intense fairways and hazards.
The club has two ladies golf groups and two mornings a week are set aside for these groups. Each week different days are scheduled for the Lady 9’ers, the Lady 18’ers, and the Putters. The 9’ers are a part of the Desert Niners League and are involved in the country club mixer and various activities as well as non-competitive play. The 18’ers are part of the Spring Classic, the Pro-AM Tournament, and team play. And the Putters promote friendly competition and like to sharpen skills. The Men’s Club has over 160 members and is made up of 18 holers and 9 holers for scheduled play.
Chaparral also has a lounge and elegant dining room along with a spacious patio. There are many social activities to choose from including dinner dances, charity events, and costume parties. Residents enjoy card games, book clubs, computer classes, and arts and crafts.
This neighborhood is minutes from the shopping and dining along El Paseo Drive. And close by is the Palm Springs Airport, The Living Desert, McCallum Theaters, and local casinos.
